Message :detonation prone being a result of two primary factors:
:1) The induction system, namely the plenum design, will promote better airflow into these cylinders.

I remember a time where you thought the opposite was true (you thought the forward most runners received the most air). It's good to see you come around.

:2) The cooling system, by the introduction of the "coolest" coolant coming to the front of the engine and having to make its way through hot cast iron on its way to the rearmost cylinders which also have not only the least pressure differential to move the water, but also a huge bias of flow between the driver/passenger sides by way of the heater core circulation system.... *gasp*

I hadn't thought about the heater core circulation causing issues. Perhaps a shutoff valve is in order
